AMES BOSTON HOTEL, BOSTON

Boston isn’t known for its fashion forwardness or for being the most cutting edge design and style oriented town. So if you’re a trendy New Yorker or a bit of a design buff visiting Boston to experience its old world charm, you might prefer to stay amongst the visually appealing modern creature comforts you’re used to back at home. The Ames Hotel is probably your best bet.

Truth be told, you’ll be hard pressed to find many other design oriented accommodation options in the city!

We love the sky-high ceilings and the huge windows that bring in beautiful natural light. We also like the peekaboo showers separated from the bedroom by only a panel of clear glass and the cheeky seduction kit offered in the mini bar – the hotel’s playful suggestion of fun things to do in Boston 😉

Best Bit: The hotel’s play on old and new. The 19th century building is considered Boston’s very first skyscraper and has been renovated by interior designer David Rockwell to embrace 21st century design.
