London Hotspot Find: Duck Soup

DUCK SOUP, SOHO

Duck Soup is a buzzing London restaurant where the chefs turn out simple food made with restraint. In fact, everything about this hotspot is pared-back, even the surrounds are minimal, probably deliberately so to showcase their honest food.

The restaurant is inspired by the neighbourhood eateries of provincial France but with an ever-changing menu line up, you’ll find the common thread to be more like eclectic European.

Sharing is the aim of the game here so order plenty of small plates and trust the recommendations of your server – they’ve had the hard job of tasting it all and they know what’s good for the day.

Best Bit: The daily handwritten menus and vinyl record player working in the background add that extra touch of charm to this terrific little hotspot.
